Called to JOY

Did your mom ever tell you to check your attitude? Well I know my mom did...

That’s something I’ve been working on recently. The past months have been rough ones for one reason or another. Filled with changes, challenges, and loss. That’s life! Now I can focus on all that went wrong. I can let the bad and hurt cloud my mind. Even let it cloud all the good memories, ruining those good moments. I could run with hurt and anger. Build up walls and never trust or feel again. But that’s exactly what Satan wants.

He comes to kill, steal, and destroy.

To kill the love, steal the joy, and destroy people in the process.

Running on anger and hurt is exhausting. For a bit I was in that place... I’m human and it happens to us all at some point. But His plan for us is greater than that. He didn’t design us to live in anger or pain. He comes to restore our joy. To restore love. To restore you. He comes to lift us up and show us new things. To help us grow, heal, and move forward. God has really been working on me about this. It’s a constant challenge... life isn’t perfect. Challenges WILL come along, but we were not meant to face them alone. The One called love is by your side. He will help you through these challenges. Even if there is a loss, He has a better plan for you.

I’ve had to trust Him in this... and oh how He has blessed me in ways I couldn’t even imagine.

He is for you, not against you.

He is a God of love and joy.
